Case of the Hangman

Two look alike female cousins operate a small private detective agency in rural Missouri. They also happen to be witches. In the first book of this series, the two girls investigate a case of apparently unrelated hangings, only to find that the victims are related by a murder twenty four years earlier. One girl turns up missing, and ends up in the hands of the killer. Only by sheer luck will her searchers be able to find her before the rope runs out.
