Madelle Morgan enjoyed nineteen summers at a summer cottage in Honey Harbour, District of Muskoka, Ontario-Canada's version of the Hamptons-where lake shorelines are dotted with luxurious properties owned by wealthy families and Hollywood celebrities. Being neither rich nor famous, she worked as a chambermaid at a Muskoka resort. Decades later, Muskoka is the setting for her Hollywood in Muskoka series, an update on the upstairs/downstairs trope: successful people in the film industry on vacation fall in love with local service providers.
Madelle is also the author of Diamond Hunter, a romantic suspense about diamond smuggling in the Subarctic that "mines" her experiences as a young engineer in Canada's Northwest Territories.
