About the Author

Janet Lawler is a widely published and award-winning author of fiction and nonfiction for children. Her work has been translated into multiple languages. She lives in Connecticut with her family.

Brittany Baugus is a children’s book illustrator from Atlanta, Georgia, whose work includes Janet Lawler's Celebrate! and Marion Dane Bauer's The Animals Speak. She currently spends her days concepting and creating colorful, textured, and story-driven illustrations. Inspiration for Brittany’s work comes from her fascination with nature, animals, and animated films.
