The actor who played Leatherface offers a fascinating account of the making, the distribution, the effect, and the importance of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The book is informative, funny, and opinionated. Who knew that behind Leatherface's mask was such a talented writer? I had not seen the film in years, but I rushed out to buy a copy when I finished the book. If you like this film, horror films, or just movies in general, read this.

Gunnar Hansen, the man behind the mask of that iconic character leatherface gives us an in depth look at how Texas Chainsaw massacre was made. He gives us the feelings and emotions of being on the set but also tells it from the points of view from his fellow actors and crew members. Whether it's learning what it took to achieve that famous low angle dolly shot that went under a swing and ended on the house or how hellacious it was shooting the "Dinner Scene", it's all here. You are sure to be entertained and informed if you are a fan of the movie or interested in film making. - Review written by Curt Wiser Author of "Box Cutter Killer"
