Naiya Kelly knew he would come for her.
O God, by Your mercy, rest is given to the souls of the faithful, be pleased to bless this grave.
She just hadn't expected it so soon.
Appoint Your holy angels to guard it and set free from all the chains of sin and the soul of her whose body is buried here ...
And certainly not at the cemetery in the middle of her mother's burial service.
So that with all Thy saints she may rejoice in Thee forever.
She repeated the words in her head, praying for the same deliverance the priest sought to give her mother, although they both knew Laurie Kelly was going to hell.
Which is exactly where Naiya would be going as soon as the priest finished the service, because the devil stood waiting for her on the other side of the wrought-iron gates.
She focused on the holy water the priest sprinkled over the coffin, each perfect drop beading on the rough-hewn wood. Anything but turn and meet the dark, steady gaze of her mother's killer — the man who had brutally stripped away Naiya's innocence seven years ago, and was back for more. No, not a man. A monster.
Viper. President of the Black Jacks Motorcycle Club (MC). Self-styled outlaw biker king of Montana.
Her fingers slid over the ring on her left hand — silver, with four crossed sabers on a black background. The Good Mark of the Phantom. It was the only clue she had to the identity of her father now that her mother was gone. As a child, she'd read every Phantom comic book she could get her hands on, imagining her father had left the ring for her as a form of protection because he couldn't be with her. The Phantom had no superpowers but relied on strength and intelligence to defeat his foes.
So how was she going to escape a cemetery with only one gate and six outlaw bikers waiting for her in a sea of chrome and leather?
Salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us ...
Her hand curled around the bouquet of roses she had brought to lay on her mother's grave, her fingers white from the morning frost. Usually she loved Montana's autumns for the brilliant colors and cool evenings, but an early cold snap had sent the leaves tumbling from the trees, and Devil's Hills had gone from green to brown overnight, brutally ripping away the tail end of what had been a beautiful Indian summer.
Shine on those who sit in darkness and death's shadow ...
She hadn't been back to Devil's Hills since she'd run away seven years ago, but the small, former mining town hadn't changed at all. With it's pretty main street adorned with brightly colored historic buildings, an abundance of American flags and eclectic shops, and nestled against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains, it was hard to believe the town was the seat of the largest Black Jacks MC chapter in Montana and not a tourist paradise.
Naiya plucked a petal from one of the white roses as the priest prayed. White for the purity her mother had lost the day she met Viper. White to wipe the slate clean. Grandma Kelly had been a devout Catholic and had done her best to save Naiya's mother's soul, but once Viper got his fangs into her, there was nothing Grandma Kelly could do. His poison had tainted not just Laurie's life, but Naiya's, too.
I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?
No. Of course she didn't believe it. She would be dead the minute she left the cemetery, or at the very least wishing she was dead. She could feel Viper's eyes boring into her, staining her soul. He probably had a needle all ready to get Naiya addicted to the same drugs he'd given her mother to keep her willing and compliant.
Naiya's mother had been Viper's favorite sweet butt — one of many women who hung around the MC, doing chores and servicing the needs of the bikers in exchange for safety and a place to live — and second only in importance to his old lady, the biker equivalent of a wife. Naiya couldn't see the appeal of a forty-year-old meth addict to a man who could have any woman he wanted, especially when he'd demonstrated a taste for fifteen-year-old girls.
In the end, Naiya's mother had paid a high price for Viper's attention: death by overdose in Viper's bed. At least Grandma Kelly wasn't alive to see it.
Naiya glanced over at the tombstone beside her mother's grave etched with her grandmother's details: Marjorie Grace Kelly, wife of Peter Kelly (deceased), mother of Laurie, beloved grandmother of Naiya. She didn't remember much about Grandma Kelly's funeral, only that she'd been afraid for the first time in the nine years since she was born. Grandma Kelly had always taken care of her, and after that day, she had no one. Well, almost no one. Her drugged-out junkie sweet butt mother didn't count.
The priest sprinkled the casket with holy water. She missed Father Doyle who had been a fixture in the church as long as she could remember. He had led the service when her grandfather died and had been very close to Grandma Kelly. If not for Father Doyle, she might have made an even bigger mistake than going to the Black Jack clubhouse on her fifteenth birthday.
In a low, soothing voice, the priest asked again that her mother's soul rest in peace, and then he made a prayer for mercy.
A sob welled up in Naiya's throat as she contemplated her last few moments of freedom. Not even Viper would dare step foot onto holy ground, but even if he did, who would stop him? The priest? The cemetery workers standing ready with their shovels? No one else had come for the funeral. Junkies didn't have many friends.
And neither did she.
After her mother sold Grandma Kelly's house and blew the money on drugs, they'd been forced to live above a sex shop with a cruel, brutal Black Jack named Abe. Parents didn't want their children associating with the daughter of a drug addict and bike gang whore, and she'd been ostracized at school. Naiya took refuge in books, her only saving grace her intelligence and her determination to succeed at school so that she could leave the biker life behind.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
Damn the Black Jacks. Damn Viper. Damn her own stupidity for coming back to Devil's Hills. But there was no running from Viper. She knew he'd kept tabs on her in college; she'd heard the Harleys, seen the occasional Black Jack cut. If she tried to run, he would hunt her down. The Black Jacks were one of the most powerful outlaw MCs in the country, and second only to the Sinner's Tribe MC in the state.
And what kind of daughter wouldn't bury her mother? Even if her mother had done nothing to save her when Viper decided to give Naiya a birthday present she would never forget.
Happy fifteenth birthday, love. Now lie still and shut the fuck up.
The gate creaked. Heavy footsteps thudded across the grass behind her. Trembles wracked Naiya's body. The priest intoned the last prayer, and Naiya placed the flowers on her mother's coffin.
"Good-bye," she whispered.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
A hand clamped down on her shoulder, and Naiya fought back a whimper of fear.
May she rest in peace.
"No use praying, love," Viper murmured in her ear. "God's not gonna save you now."
* * *
Sometimes Holt "T-Rex" Savage found pleasure in the pain.
In the furthest recesses of his mind, he could tell good days from bad.
On the bad days, Viper didn't come to the dungeon. On those days, Holt suffered as his body tried to heal from countless months of torture. He felt every bruise, every cut, every lash, every bone that had broken and not reset. His lungs burned with every breath. His heart ached with every beat. His blood crusted beneath the manacles that held him to the wall.
But worse were the memories that assailed him when he stared at the Sinner's Tribe cut — the leather vest worn by all outlaw bikers — that Viper had pinned to the cinder block wall with the dagger Holt received when he patched into the Sinner's Tribe.
His cut. His club.
At least they had been until the Sinners betrayed him.
The Sinner's Tribe MC — the club he had loved, the bikers he had called brothers, the president he had respected above all men, the man he had called friend — were nothing to him now. He had sacrificed for them, offered himself to Viper to save the life of the Sinners' VP's girl, Evie, and in return they left him to suffer and die.
Funny how history repeated itself. Except this time his sacrifice hadn't landed him in juvenile detention, but in hell.
Yesterday should have been a good day. On the good days, Viper tortured him until his mind went blank, erasing memories, hopes, and dreams, wiping out the pain of betrayal and replacing it with fantasies of revenge.
Revenge had given him the will to live. Revenge against Viper and the Jacks. Revenge against Jagger and the Sinner's Tribe. Once he was free, his wrath would know no bounds. He would surrender himself to the beast within until it had drunk deep of betraying biker blood.
But yesterday was different. Viper was excited. His dark eyes glittered in the semi-darkness of the dungeon beneath the Black Jack clubhouse that had been Holt's home for countless months. Viper pulled out equipment he had never used before, tortured Holt without needing a break to rest his arms or to laugh or talk with the men who always accompanied him for what he called his "workout" sessions.
He was going to have a woman he had wanted for years, he'd said.
A girl he'd tasted once and never forgotten, he'd said.
The daughter of the sweet butt who had inconvenienced him by dying in his bed.
A replacement for the woman Holt had snatched away with his ridiculous sacrifice that had landed him in Viper's dungeon and opened his eyes to the fact the Sinners were not the loyal brothers Holt thought they were.
All of which meant Viper didn't need Holt any more. He would be working out his stress between the poor girl's soft thighs. His whip would taste her smooth, creamy skin. His chains would circle her slim wrists. Her blood would stain his sheets. And he would drink the nectar of her screams.
Today was a bad day. The worst of all days. There was no pain Holt didn't feel, no breath he didn't fight for, no beat he didn't have to squeeze from his heart. Today he wondered if there would be a tomorrow because even revenge was losing its battle to sustain him.
Holt stared at the cut on the wall. The Sinner's Tribe patch was barely visible in the thin light that shone through the outer door. He remembered the day Jagger had given him that cut. The bar filled with his brothers, chanting his road name, "T-Rex." The pride that swelled his chest when Jagger threw the cut over his shoulders. And later, the emotion that welled up in his throat when his best friend, Tank, gave him the dagger. It had been the best day of his life.
His chest seized, and he gritted his teeth. This is why he fought back the memories. Nothing hurt more than emotional pain.
Light flickered against the wall, and the door scraped open. Holt drew in a deep breath and blinked as his eyes adjusted to the light.
This was it. The last day had finally come. He felt no fear, no longing, and no sadness. Nothing but regret that he hadn't had a chance to exact his revenge. If he'd been a praying man, he would have prayed that this would be the end of his suffering. But he wasn't. So he closed his eyes, and he made a wish.
His wish didn't come true.
"Fucking bitch." Viper shoved a woman into the dungeon so hard she fell to the floor. "You're mine now, and you'll damn well learn to behave. Blame your mother for dying with a shitload of debt. Your new place is in my fucking bed with your legs spread wide, your pussy wet, and your mouth open only to suck my cock. And if you ever try to pull that kind of crap on me again, you'll be joining your fucking mother in her grave." He slammed the door shut, plunging the room into darkness.
For a long moment, the woman didn't move, and Holt wondered if Viper had hurt her. He opened his mouth to speak, but, with his tongue dry and swollen, no sound came out.
An ear-splitting scream filled the dungeon. He heard the rasp of her breaths, fists on metal. Through the thin light streaming beneath the door, he could make out the barest outline of her body as she let loose a string of curses that would put even the most hardened biker to shame.
Holt wanted to go to her, tell her she was wasting her breath. No one would find her in Viper's dungeon. And even if someone heard her cries, no one would come to her aid. But with his wrists manacled and one ankle chained to the floor, he couldn't move. Weak from hunger, thirst, and loss of blood, he couldn't even rattle the chain to let her know she wasn't alone.
Sobbing, the woman bent down and slid her fingers under the door. She cursed again, filthy words interspersed with such rapid breaths he wondered if she would hyperventilate.
"It'sokayit'sokayit'sokayit'sokay." She curled up beside the door for a few minutes, muttering to herself. And then she sprang up, her hands sliding over the door and the wall beside it, searching, shouting so loud Holt's ears rang. "Help."
She still hadn't turned around, and he thought this was a dangerous thing. If she had any sense, she would protect her back. But this woman wasn't thinking about the dangers in the dungeon. Between sobs and shouts, she railed against Viper as if she couldn't contain the fire inside her no matter how hard she tried.
If he could have moved his lips, he would have smiled.
Finally, she found the light switch, and the naked bulb overhead flickered on. Holt squinted as his eyes adjusted the light. Viper kept him in darkness save for the days he came to visit, and on those days Holt didn't want to see what Viper had in store for him.
He must have made a sound because she whirled around to face him, hands raised, eyes wide. Her gaze flickered over the implements on the walls — whips, chains, iron bars, knives, axes, and all manner of torture devices Holt had never encountered before but with which he was now intimately familiar — the hooks in the ceiling, the toilet in the corner that was just far enough for his chains to reach, and the blood stains on the floor.
Not all his blood. There had been another man in the dungeon when he'd first been captured. A dark-haired Devil Dog who had made the mistake of sleeping with one of the Black Jacks' old ladies. After beating the poor bastard to death, Viper left his body on the dungeon floor and moved Holt to a different dungeon in a different location where Holt was subjected to everything he'd witnessed and more. When Viper returned Holt to his original cell, the Devil Dog was gone, and everything had been rebuilt as new. But the horror was old and endless.
Finally, the woman's gaze fell on him. She gasped and her hand flew to her mouth. Holt tried to make out her face, but with his eyes swollen and crusted with dried blood, and unused to the light, she was nothing more than a blur.
"Ohgodohgodohgodohgod." She took one step toward him, then another. When she crouched down in front of him, he managed to widen his eyes enough to see her clearly. She was slim, and small, with long dark hair, and a heart shaped face. He couldn't discern the color of her eyes, only that the color shifted as he watched, and her gaze was deep with sympathy when she met his stare. It had been so long since he'd seen a woman, she looked almost ethereal with her pale skin and fine features, but her cheek was badly bruised.
Easy to break. Viper could crush her neck with one hand, and yet she seemed angry, not afraid.
"You're alive." She reached out and stroked his cheek.
Holt jerked back at her gentle touch. Instinct. Borne of constant pain from every touch he'd endured since the last day he'd seen the sun.
"I'm sorry." Her voice was soft, throaty. He'd forgotten about the beautiful things in life. Soft things. Gentle things. Sights and sounds. Tastes and touches. She was all of them wrapped up in one sweet package.
"Viper thinks you're dead." Her brow furrowed. "I heard him talking with his men before he brought me down here. They're planning to get your ... you and bury you somewhere."

Wow what a ride worth losing sleepover to read straight thru
Love the series.
A must read. Can't wait to see what happens next. Looking forward to reading Nico.
Loved the growth of charcters Pulls you in
In this 4th installment of the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club we get Holt’s (T-Rex) story. I have been in love with this series since I first started reading MC books and have been a fan of T-Rex’s since the beginning as well. His quick and fun loving demeanor made him an instant favorite character for me and was so upset when he sacrificed himself in the previous book. If you haven’t read any books in this series yet, please start with the first book, you won’t be sorry and this story will have so much more meaning to you if you start at the beginning. As I mentioned above, T-Rex sacrificed himself in a previous installment to save one of his brother’s women and his been in the Black Jack’s cruel hands every since. He has endure three months of torture in hopes of his club coming and rescuing him but the longer he is held captive the more he has to come to the terms that the Sinners have left him to die. The only thing that keeps him going is his hope of revenge against the Black Jacks MC and the ones he once considered his family, the Sinner’s MC. Naiya grew up as the daughter of a Black Jack sweet butt and the MC president Viper, a sick and cruel man. She never had any value and was treated like trash because of her mother’s low ranking in the club. At the tender age of fifteen Viper taught Naiya a cruel and horrible physical and emotional lesson. Soon after she was able to escape the MC life but fast forward to seven years later and she finds herself back in her hometown of Devils Hills for her mother’s funeral. Naiya knew better than to go to the funereal, after all, her mother would have never shown her the same respect but being the good hearted person she is she just couldn’t bring herself to be that cruel. Unfortunately for Naiya her father was waiting for her return, knowing she would show up to say a final goodbye and that was when he made his move and she ends up in the same prison with T-Rex. T-Rex cannot believe it when the Black Jacks throw the incredibly beautiful woman into the basement room he had been locked in for years. He may have lost hope for himself but he will not let them harm the woman and by working together the two are able to escape from the MC. Naiya knows her best chance is to stay with the man who helped her escape even though most would be scared of him. He is scarred and emotionally damaged but Naiya sees the man he used to be under the surface and the longer these two are with each other the closer their connection becomes and they both find themselves falling into love with each other. However as much as T-Rex cares for the woman he cannot let it steer him away from his mission of revenge against his family and that means he can never have Naiya as his own. This story was incredibly emotional but also extremely beautiful. While their backgrounds are so sad and heartbreaking the love, forgiveness and hope they find in each other is absolutely beautiful. This book has by far been my favorite of the series and I look forward to more books to come. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.
CHAOS BOUND is a departure from the usual when it comes to this series, but that makes it the best so far, in my opinion. Holt and Naiya are the living example of endurance, bravery and pure strength because their past did not destroy them, but instead made them stronger. After spending three months being tortured by a rival MC, Holt “T-Rex” Savage has given up hope that he will be rescued by his brothers and the only thing that sustains him is the thirst for revenge against both his captors and the brothers who left him to rot in hell. But help comes in the form of a slip of a woman with a very big brain. Naiya Kelly grew up in the Black Jacks MC, not by choice and made her escape at fifteen but not before she was violated and scarred by their president, Viper. It's been a long time since she left but her mother's funeral brought her back and she knows that this time she won't be able to escape Viper and his fixation on her, unless she can get help from someone bigger and badder than him, someone willing to take him on and she finds that in the most unlikely place: Viper's dungeon. Escaping Viper does not mean that they are out of danger and Naiya knows that Holt is her only chance of staying safe, out of Viper's clutches and getting vengeance on him, and she will do whatever it takes, even if it means saving Holt from himself. For Holt, Niaya was a lifeline at a point when he had nothing but a hunger for revenge keeping him alive and he plans to keep her safe no matter the cost. It's easy to see how that experience would harden a man like Holt and make him into who he had become, but Naiya's sass, sweetness and smarts were enough to captivate him and bring out some of the old Holt. She had overcome her own pain at Viper's hands and come out stronger. Their experiences forged an unbreakable bond between them, a bond that would grow into more. But as much as he wants her, will Holt have anything left to give her once he's gotten his revenge? Holt and Naiya fit perfectly and I loved the connection between them and how very protective of Naiya Holt was, all growly and dangerous, ready to rain hell on anyone who looked at her sideways. I also loved that Naiya was brave and resourceful and willing to do what it took to protect Holt, even approaching the Sinners all by herself. I also enjoyed the dynamics between Holt and his friend, Tank and the Sinners. The bonds of friendship and brotherhood and how Holt's experience strained and reshaped them. This was a very intense, raw and beautiful story of pain, love and friendship and the best I have read from Ms. Castille. Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Bikers, revenge, and love **I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review** Although I’m not a fan of the MC genre, this book grabbed my attention and kept me going, which I think speaks volumes about its qualities. However, Chaos Bound is a dark and at times disturbing read. Issues like torture and rape can be triggers for some readers so I recommend caution if you don’t like this kind of things. Personally, I don’t look for that in the books I read and they’re not my style of writing but these scenes didn’t prevent me from liking the book. As for the story line, be prepared for an intriguing, twisted plot. I don’t know about you but I love plots like that! In the name of honesty, I must confess there were a few moments which required a bit suspension of disbelief on my part; but this is a given with romance novels so they didn’t bother me. I just rolled with them and enjoyed the story. Regarding the characters, they’re multifaceted, deep and realistic, which means not all of them are likeable. But those are not supposed to be because they’re the bad guys. Holt is a flawed yet tortured soul (pun intended) as well as a damn hot alpha male while Naiya is a strong and intelligent female lead. Their interactions got me enthralled and I couldn’t put the book down. Finally, I’d like to say that although this is a standalone book, I’m sure I would have picked up on other things if I had read the previous installments so if you like the genre you might want to start with book one in the series. I recommend Chaos Bound for those fan of MC stories and for those who are looking to expand their reading tastes because this is a high-quality book, which will make for a great introduction to a new genre.
4.5 Stars Definitely best book out of this series yet! Holt and Naiya were fabulous together, even if they were both frustratingly stubborn most of the time with their back and forth behavior, still with everything Viper put them through it was no wonder they were so unsure about each other and the people around them. I was pleasantly surprised at how Holt changed and him, Tank and Naiya did their own thing, it was a different outcome than what I thought was going to happen but it was the right one for all three... Looking forward to the next book... SR
Really enjoyed can't wait for this series to continue
This is the fourth book in the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club series, but it can be read as a standalone. Each book wraps up, however, past characters appear. It is not necessary to read the previous books, but they are so good you will want to read them. This is a great story that puts you on a journey of betrayal, torture, corruption, lies, revenge, healing, redemption, forgiveness, and a love so deep that you can’t live without it. The story revolves around the main characters of Holt “T-Rex” Savage and Naiya Kelly, but his best friend and MC brother, Tank has a large role as a secondary character. Hopefully, Tank will be the next to get a book! After reading the synopsis I was intrigued, but it didn’t prepare me for all that would go on in this book. There are so many layers that you have to get through. There are so many twists and turns that you thought you knew were coming, but was surprised when the next twist happened. I don’t want to give away any of the story, as I want you to enjoy the ride! Sarah Castille had me from the start and I really enjoyed this book from start to finish, and I highly recommend it!
Chaos Bound is the fourth book in the Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club series but it can be read as a standalone. It is Holt "T-Rex" and Naiya's story. Holt "T-Rex", a member of the Sinner's Tribe MC, has been tortured by the Black Jacks MC for months. Only the thought of revenge against the ones that did him wrong has kept him alive. Naiya grew up around the Black Jacks MC, but luckly was able to escape their way of life. Until she returns to Devils Hills to bury her mother, a Black Jack sweet butt. Naiya regrets returning to Devils Hills when she is taken as a prisioner by Viper, the Black Jacks President. Put together in Viper's dungeon, Naiya and Holt work together and are able to escape the Black Jacks and Viper. While on the run, Naiya wants to use Holt's connection to the Sinner's Tribe MC to find protection while Holt wants to use Naiya as bait to lure Viper out of his club. But the more time they spend together, the more their connection and feelings grow. Once again, Sarah Castille gives us an awesome MC book, with an amazing story, full of action, drama, twists, suspense and steamy scenes. Sarah's writing style is flawless and makes the reader connect with the story and characters. I loved Holt. He is everything an alpha biker must be: possessive, protective, with a lot of caveman traits, but he can also be very sweet. I couldn't help but fall for him and understand his struggle. He feels he was betrayed by the club he called family and wants revenge. I loved is bromance with Tank! Naiya is a strong woman, very sweet and smart an also very sassy. She went through a very traumatic event but she knows what she wants and fought and still fights for it. She loves having control over every aspect of her life and loves planning. Her encounter with Holt makes her take risks she never thought she would. Overall, Chaos Bound is a fantastic book with an amazing story and great characters. It has everything a MC book needs and it will hook you from the first page.
It was a great read...can't wait for Tanks story...love this series
4.25 stars--CHAOS BOUND is the fourth installment in Sarah Castille’s contemporary, adult SINNERS’ TRIBE MOTORYCLE CLUB erotic, romance, MC series focusing on the men and women of the Sinner’s Tribe MC. This is Sinner’s Tribe MC member Holt (T-Rex) Savage, and forensic pathologist Naiya Kelly. CHAOS BOUND can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from several third person perspectives CHAOS BOUND follows the imprisonment, torture and subsequent rescue of Holt Savage-T Rex to his fellow Sinner’s Tribe MC brothers-and a man h*ll bent on revenge against the Black Jack MC, and the Sinner’s for ‘leaving’ him behind. For three months Holt has been locked in the Black Jack’s dungeon where the daily torture and brutal beatings have left our hero a broken man. Enter Naiya Kelly, a twenty two year old woman who finds herself imprisoned along with Holt, but a woman determined to save them both. What ensues is Holt’s recovery and plans for revenge, while falling for the woman who may be more trouble than is worth. CHAOS BOUND focuses on two people whose lives have been destroyed by the Black Jack MC. Raised by her drug addicted mother, Naiya found herself thrust into the world of the motorcycle clubs at an early age. But her mother’s death taught her one thing- a debt must be paid in full whether the person is alive or not. With Naiya by his side, Holt is determined to destroy Viper Wilder, once and for all. The relationship between Holt and Naiya begins as co-victims of a sadistic and evil mind. Their flight to freedom involves Holt’s recovery and his need to destroy that which destroyed his body and mind. While Holt needs Naiya in his life, he is determined to push her away to protect her from the life that she has resolved to escape. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many members of the Sinner’s Tribe MC –Jagger, Shaggy, Dax, Gunner, Sparky, new prospect and former sheriff Benson and Holt’s best friend James ‘Tank’ Evans who always believed that Holt would make it out alive. The Black Jack MC is represented by their president Viper Wilder whose fixation on Naiya is dangerous and dark. We are also introduced to Naiya’s best friend Ally, Ally’s husband and police officer Doug, and Naiya’s ex boyfriend Michael. The world building continues to focus on the dark side of the MC life: the violence, the $ex, the drugs and the guns. Many women are commodities-traded for favors and $ex-but sometimes a woman is the heart and the soul of the biker’s world. CHAOS BOUND is an emotional and heartbreaking story. T-Rex (aka Holt) is broken both inside and out; his sleep is riddled with nightmares, his days are stolen by memories and pain. The premise is a story of revenge and retribution; the characters are colorful, animated and inspiring; the romance is a second chance at life, love and a happily ever after. I did have a couple of issues. Holt’s ability to virtually heal over night. It should have taken days to weeks to physically heal from the beatings and abuse. And the heroine’s claim she was on the birth control pill so the lack of condoms was okay, yet she had to leave her purse and everything behind while she and Holt were on the run and in hiding……so, where did she get the BC pills? Is it just me ??
Wow! This is a great MC read. Holt/T-Rex and Naiya were held together in Viper’s dungeon and now they are set on revenge. As the work together they grow closer and closer, will they get the revenge they seek or hurt each other in the process. Fast paced read with lots of drama and so much emotion. The characters are amazing and I really liked the story. Looking forward to more in the series.
Chaos Bound, book four in Sarah Castille's Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club Series, was full on action, drama and suspense to its satisfying completion. Holt was a great flawed hero as his actions continued to twist and turn like the plot he was part of. This author blended nicely how Naiya the heroine's personality traits reflected both the civilian lifestyle she had escaped to and the biker culture she had been raised in. Raw and wounded the attraction between the leads was intense and issue wrought which made it that much more enticing. Ms. Castille's success at not trying to idealize the biker community she is writing about and providing aspects that are human and relatable made the pages of her work come alive, leaving a memorable impact on her readers. Skillful writing from this author will make the happily ever after of this story resonate and the emotional toll of this read worth the risk. *I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.* *While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*
This is a great book; this is the fourth book in the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club written by Sarah Castille. Holt “T-Rex” Savage is a junior member of the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club and will stop at nothing to get revenge. But falling for a beautiful woman with dangerous ties to his sworn enemy was never part of the plan. Naiya Kelly was raised by the Black Jacks now that she has put her MC days behind her, she has sworn never to give her heart to a biker. That is until she meets T-Rex. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
What a story! Castille has definitely knocked it out of the park with this one. Tensions and emotions run high as lives are held in the balance. Castille has created descriptions that pack a punch, creating an atmosphere that the reader can’t miss and adding a sense of foreboding. The plot held my attention as I got up close and personal with the characters. Holt’s apparent abandonment by the Sinners and the head twist from Viper really made me feel for him. It gave a lot of context for everything that he’s going through. Naiya’s past hurts and present concerns made her a stunning counterpoint to Holt, yet her heart made her a pleasure to get to know. The supporting cast was also a blast. I loved revisiting the Sinners, and the contrast between them and the Jacks was striking. This novel was fast paced and suspenseful. Castille kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others but I would recommend reading the rest of the series first for context. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first book by this author and in this series and all I have to say is WOW!! I will definitely being reading the other books in this series. While this is the fourth in the series, I had no problem following along and enjoying the story. And what a story it is. Holt "T-Rex" Savage was caught, held, and captured for three months by the Black Jacks. The Sinners rival MC. Certain that his club didn't bother to find and help him, he is dead set on revenge. Naiya Kelly was raised in the Black Jack organization. After being viciously raped and marked by the President of the club Naiya made her escape and hasn't looked back. Until now. Coming back to bury her mother was a horrible mistake. When she's thrown into the dungeon with Holt, they work together to escape of clutches of the Black Jacks. These two have undeniable chemistry but they live in two different worlds now. Would they ever be able to build something together? An awesome read that I highly recommend.
LOVE IT!!! Chaos Bound is another great book in the The Sinner's Tribe series. I seriously love Holt "T-Rex" Savage and Naiya Kelly's story. It is raw, rugged and romantic. I would recommend this series to anyone.
I loved this 4th book in the Sinner's Tribe MC series and it has definitely become my favorite book so far! Holt 'T-Rex' Savage has endured unimaginable torture at the hands of Viper for 3 long months. He feels betrayed by his brothers for not rescuing him and is consumed with seeking revenge on the Sinner's as well as Viper. Naiya is kidnapped by Viper as well but for very different reasons. Naiya's mom was killed by Viper and he wants Naiya to pay the dept he feels he is owed by chaining her to his bed. T-Rex and and Naiya help each other escape the Black Jack's dungeon. They believe they can use the other to get what they need, freedom and revenge. Tank, Holt's best friend in the Sinner's, never believed that Holt died in the dungeon as the Sinner's were lead to believe and has never stopped searching for him. Viper is not one to let anyone get away and is going all out to bring Naiya back. So begins a race against time on who will find who first and who will survive! Holt and Naiya are wonderful characters. Holt was a changed man after being tortured. No longer the easy going, peace keeper he was before but now demanding, controlled and serious. Naiya is strong, stubborn, quirky, and funny. But she was hiding her true nature from herself. Holt made her feel safe and she anchored him. They butted heads often and the chemistry was off the charts! Tank's storyline was so intriguing as well as he felt lost without his best friend. All three characters were so well developed and interesting, I was hanging on every detail. This is a journey of discovery with many twists and turns that are so exhilarating and emotional! I loved how Ms. Castille ended each chapter leaving you wanting more and unable to not turn the page to get it! This series just gets better and better and I can't wait to see where Ms. Castille takes us next!
“He wanted her, wanted this woman with the broken soul, wanted to fix her, show her the beauty of surrender, open her up and fill her with joy.” Sarah Castille has done it again. Once again, she has taken us on a wild and crazy ride. She has shown us just how ugly things can get in the MC world be and just how the need for revenge drives you. Chaos Bound gave me everything and I mean everything that I could ask for in a good MC read. The story-line was compelling, leaving me unable to put it down. The characters were gritty and intense; subjected to things that would forever change them. Naiya is just trying to survive. She is one one tough leading lady. She’s not afraid to go it alone and isn’t afraid to stand up and protect those that she cares about….Holt has one thing and one thing only on his mind, and that’s revenge. He is living and breathing it. That is until Naiya comes into the picture. Naiya turned his world upside down and showed him that there is more to living than just revenge. She gave him something else to care about and believe in. And the chemistry between these two…scorching…hot…undeniable…The two of them together is just explosive!! Overall, I really enjoyed Chaos Bound. It is a great story of brotherhood, family and getting a second chance in all the things. This story is about freedom and revenge. It’s about danger and regret. It’s about love and fighting for what you want. And I loved every second of it. Chaos Bound is a great addition to The Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club Series and I’m looking forward to seeing what adventure this author will take us on next!
After watching her mother give her life over the club and it completely destroy her, Naiya Kelly made the decision early on to never get herself mixed up with a biker. And so far she's been able to keep the promise she made to herself... but she never planned to meet a man like Holt Savage. The minute she is thrown into the Black Jacks dungeon with him, she feels a undeniable magnetic pull to him, he's wounded and is in dire need of saving and she can't help but get involved. They formulate a plan to make their escape from the dungeon and begin to form a bond, and the sparks start to fly, and before long Naiya begins to second guess her little plan about bikers! Holt Savage knew better than to try and save a friend from a rival gang without the aid of his Sinner brothers, but he couldn't stand by and watch them harm her any longer so he took matters into his own hands and attempted to rescue her, but soon found himself in the hands of the enemy. The Black Jacks have been holding Holt captive at their compound for months now, and he is starting to lose hope that his brothers are coming to rescue him, and his will to live is starting to fade... that is until a beautiful damsel in distress gets thrown into his cell. She has a escape plan and he finds himself putting what little faith he has left in her hands... From the moment I started this one I knew it there was no way I was putting it down until I had devoured every last word, it grabbed a hold of me from the first page and kept me completely enthralled until the last page was turned. The minute Holt waltzed onto the page I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame, and the more I got to know him the hotter that flame got... and the harder I fell!! Everything about the man is sinfully delectable... his confident swagger, protective nature, scorching one liners, and dominating presence in the bedroom had me swooning the whole way through!! Ms. Castille definitely outdid herself with character development with this one, Holt and Naiya were a match made in literary heaven and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent with them. If you like your fairy tales a little on the naughty side, and equipped with a sexy biker that goes above and beyond to satisfy your every desire, then I HIGHLY recommend you acquaint yourself with Mr. Holt Savage!! Favorite Quotes: Either Doug had been born without balls or she'd stolen them from him when he was asleep. She needed protecting but she was no victim. She was broken but needed no glue. ... the dude looked like that geek from The Big Bang Theory, except his forehead was even bigger, his head even rounder, and his hair so pale he almost looked bald. Although he couldn't be more than thirty, his shoulders slumped forward, he had arms like sticks, and he had the beginnings of a paunch. And those @#ing glasses... Where had she dug this loser up? Geeks R Us? That's kind of romantic in a terrifying, morbid, ruthless, outlaw-biker kinda way. Everything was familiar and yet something had changed... They were just men, their mystique now wiped away by the brutal reality of what living beyond the law really meant. My Review: Chaos Bound was an intense read. The characters, histories, violence, and sensual scenes were of high concentration and measurably powerful. The characters met when thrown together in a dungeon. One had survived gruesome and brutal torture, and the other was to be next in line for much of the same. The storyline while frequently violent was mesmerizing and unpredictable. I was intrigued, engaged, and engrossed by Ms. Castille's dynamic and magnetic characters and writing. The sensual scenes were incendiary, the characters were enigmatic yet likable, and the banter and observations were often surprisingly humorous and clever despite the heavy plot and underlying tension throughout the story. I continue to be enamored with these astonishingly romantic bad boys.
4.5 stars!! The writing pulled me into this story immediately! It was so smooth, flows perfectly and the first chapter had me thoroughly intrigued and anxious to see where the story was headed. This is a continuation of the Sinners Tribe story but focuses on T-Rex (Holt). There actually isn’t a whole lot of “club” business in this one as T-Rex’s story and life experiences take center stage and it’s definitely a gripping story. Holt (T-Rex) has had his heart and soul ripped to shreds but a self-proclaimed science geek helps put him back together again. Naiya is funny, strong, smart and full of witty remarks and, even after all he’s been through, uncovers Holt’s sweet and caring side. That’s no easy task because he’s out for revenge against all that he feels have wronged him. There are lots of unexpected twists in this book…lots of secrets revealed and resolutions achieved but it’s not for the faint of heart. It really tugs at your heartstrings and gets your emotions involved and I loved every minute of it! Holt has some tough decisions to make but his heart will guide him in the right direction…Always follow your heart.
I loved this book! Loved, loved LOVED this book!!! Okay, with that out of the way… Holt and Naiya have reason to hate the Viper, President of the Black Jack’s Motorcycle Club. Holt has survived three months of brutal torture by Viper and Naiya experienced her own hell at his hands when she was fifteen. Meeting in Viper’s dungeon, managing to escape together and then being on the run side by side is an experience neither of them expected and it drew out the best in both of them. Action, violence, chases, torture, murder, kidnapping, and more were balanced by caring, romance, growth and a type of brotherhood that is incomprehensible to most. I thought Holt and Naiya made a superb couple and thoroughly enjoyed reading their story. I loved the twist at the end and the epilogue was perfect. I am definitely looking forward to more books in this series! Thank you to NetGalley and Saint Martin’s Press for the copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
