During the 1950's Charlton Comics was not above inheriting titles that had previously been published by other companies. Both POLICE TRAP and DANGER were examples of this. The first eleven issues of DANGER were produced by Comic Media. Joe Simon and
Jack Kirby's POLICE TRAP's initial four comics were released by their Mainline Comics line.
Although both were good titles, 1955 was a bad year for the comic industry and Charlton canceled both series very quickly.
