CHICKEN and DUMPLINGS with GRAVY ...
This really is COMFORT FOOD straight out of the 1950's! My mom made this alot (cold winters north of Chicago), but her recipe called for a cut-up frying chicken. The only change I made to the recipe was to use boneless, skinless chicken pieces. Otherwise, you have her HOMEMADE DUMPLINGS and HOMEMADE GRAVY, which is drizzled on top of the chicken and dumplings. YUM!!
