Love awaits you in Lucky Harbor . . .

Simply Irresistible
After losing her boyfriend and her job, Maddie leaves L.A. to claim her inheritance-a ramshackle inn nestled in the little town of Lucky Harbor, Washington. She sees the potential for a new home and a new career-if she can give the inn the makeover it needs. Enter Jax, a tall, handsome contractor who knows exactly what Maddie needs...

The Sweetest Thing
Helping her sister set up the family inn is just the thing to make Tara forget her ex-husband and focus on her new life. Until she meets a sexy, green-eyed sailor determined to keep her hot, bothered, and in his bed. When her ex reappears, Tara must confront her past and decide what she really wants.

Kissing Santa Claus
NASCAR driver Logan Perrish returns to Lucky Harbor, Washington, with love in his heart and a ring in his pocket. But can Sandy Jansen forget the past and give him a second chance? Or will Logan be spending another Christmas alone?

Under the Mistletoe
There's no place like home for the holidays. And the Lucky Harbor Bed & Breakfast is bursting with festive lights and good cheer. But for Mia, Christmas is turning out to be anything other than merry and bright. Her recent break-up with her boyfriend Nick has made her return bittersweet. But then a surprise arrives, when Nick follows her to town bearing gifts - and asking for forgiveness.

4 really good books, includes Maddy, Tara, and Mia's story..I just wish it had Chloe's story. Maddy and Mia's story are a bit Christmasy as well as the short story featuring Sandy and Tara's ex. A worthwhile series

Reviewed by Karen Pirnot for Readers' Favorite Christmas in Lucky Harbor by Jill Shalvis features three half-sisters who have returned to Lucky Harbor following the death of their mother Phoebe. Tara is nicknamed the "Steel Magnolia" because of her no-nonsense approach to life. Maddie is the "Mouse" as she has generally been content to allow the better things in life to go to others. Chloe is the baby of the family. She is nicknamed the "Wild Thing" due to her unorthodox winner-take-all approach to life. The three girls have to decide what to do with their mother's inn and that in itself is a complicated novel. But, when love enters the picture, all plans are put aside in favor of exploration.  There are actually two continuing stories as well as two short stories in Christmas in Lucky Harbor. I was a bit disappointed that the book was not really about Christmas but that disappointment was only minor compared to the wealth of action provided for the reader. I liked all three sisters. Each was unique and honest in her own approach to life and each seemed to learn a bit about respect, risk-taking, and the importance of the small things in life. The first story was perhaps the strongest and most information-laden, but the other stories had their perks as well. For those who enjoy the rewards of relationship risk-taking, there were plenty of sexually-laden scenes for the fertile imagination. While maybe not Shalvis's finest novel, Christmas in Lucky Harbor was an easy and delightful read for a warm beach day or a frigid, shut-in winter.

If you’ve missed out on Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor Series, then here’s a great way to get started! Two excellently written, highly entertaining novels that kick off a heart-warming series about the residents in a town called Lucky Harbor. Also included in this release are two quick, fun novellas about two of the characters we meet in The Sweetest Thing, and Simple Irresistible. The characters found in all four of these stories are well developed and just plain fun to read about! Discover the secrets that make these novels so irresistible and will keep you coming back to Lucky Harbor again and again. I think my favorite from this book was The Sweetest Thing, with Tara and Ford. Be sure to keep a fan nearby for all the sizzling chemistry between these two! Maddie and Jax’ story in Simply Irresistible was dynamic with lots of twists and turns along the way to keep you on the edge of your seat. And if you enjoyed this novel, you might be interested in picking up a copy of Head over Heels, and read Chloe’s story! While all of these stories are part of a series, they are great stand-alone reads too! I can’t wait to read more from this outstanding author! I have always loved Jill Shalvis and jumped at the chance to start her Lucky Harbor series.  This is a great book to get started in it as well since it includes books 1, 2, and 2.5 - but the final short story (#6.5) jumped way out in the future a couple years and didn't quite fit with the flow of it all. In book one, Simply Irresistible, we meet the three sisters that kick off the series, Maddie, Chloe, and Tara.  While they may all share the same mother, they grew up very different lives and haven't really connected with each other in a very long time.  When they show up at the inn that has been left to them after their mother's death, they all have different ideas on what to do with it.  Maddie alone wants to keep it and make a new life - create a new family with her sisters.  But she will have an uphill battle in this one - as Tara and Chloe both want to sell, but they do agree to a trial run.  Enter Jax, the sure hot contractor/bartender/jack of all trades.  When the sparks fly between him and Maddie they will both need to overcome some heavy personal obstacles to make things work.  This was a wonderful introduction to Lucky Harbor, the sisters, and the many unique characters that live along side them. In book two, The Sweetest Thing, Tara gets her spotlight with an old flame.  Tara is my favorite sister so far.  Known as the "Steel Magnolia" she prides herself in keeping her control no matter what, but when she's around Ford things never seem to stay calm at all.  Their attraction is impossible for her to resist to matter how hard she tries.  But in this case, they have a history together along with lots of baggage they've built up since the last time they saw each other.  This was a very heart-felt story and my favorite in the bundle. The short story, Kissing Santa Claus, wraps up a few loose ends from book two, and we get to see the man not chosen find his love.  It was a cute wrap up with a very nice Christmas theme - just perfect for this time of year.  The second short story is the only one that didn't really fit for me.  It was also a Christmas story, but it happens several years in the future.  It references things that I didn't know had happened yet in between books 2 and 6.  It was cute, but hard to follow sometimes.

This is such a great deal! You get Simply Irresistible, The Sweetest Thing and two story stories for $2.99.    Simply Irresistible--Book 1 in the Lucky Harbor series 4 stars   I am the last romance book lover on earth to read this book. It is as charming, fun, and sexy as everyone says it is. I love the accident prone heroine and her bickering sisters. The hero and his instant irresistible pull toward her is all kinds of good. The dog. The town. All great.   There are a ton of sexy times. The end of the book is less great than the start and the middle because certain conflicts don't feel all that real to me but overall charming and hot.   The Sweetest Thing--Book 2 in  the Lucky Harbor series 4 stars    Another charming book in the series! I really don't tend to like second chance/reunion romances but this one is so well done. The angst is handled with realism and demands only the emotions that are due. I love an uptight heroine so watching Tara ease into herself was great. Ford coming to terms with himself was also a joy and they were great together. Throw is a great cast of secondary characters and we have a great read on our hands. We don't have an awesome dog here but we have teenagers so it kind of the same thing.    Kissing Santa Claus-- Logan and Sandy Story 3 stars   You get a lot more of who Logan is in the The Sweetest Thing. I wish we knew as much about Sandy and there was a little bit more here but still fun.    Under the Mistletoe-- Mia and Nick Story 3 Story 3 stars.    This one is a bit more developed that Logan and Sandy's romance but still if you aren't a fan of the series it isn't all that grand. I would have loved Carlos to get his own story too but all in all its a nice read.
