Very straight forward love story. Good, common charactors.

Finding Love Another wonderful book in the series. Janie had been independent, and adopted her foster daughter. But when she almost drowns & is rescued by Travis, she didn't know looking into those blue eyes would change her life.

I enjoyed reading this book. Predictable love story set in Alaska with well developed characters the reader will care about.

Of the ending, which was over simplified, and felt rushed.

Travis and Janie met when he pulled her out of icy water when the boat she was in sank. Although Janie knew who Travis was they'd not met before. Travis found himself suddenly attracted to Janie more than than he'd been to other women he'd dated. Janie was fearful of any man getting too close because of her mother's onetime live-in boyfriend. Randy had been nice at first, but had become abusive. Janie had a hard time trusting her instincts about Travis in spite of the intense physical attraction between them. While this is the last book in the series it stands alone well. I look forward to reading the others and they don't have to be read in order. JH Croix writes without the need of the profanity so common in contemporary romances and is able to write classy intimate scenes. It's a welcome relief from authors who feel the need for the most vulgar words in every day conversations. A refreshing difference.

Christmas Nights is a fantastic holiday read by J.H. Croix. Ms Croix has delivered a well-written book. The characters are lovable. Janie is a teacher with an adopted daughter. Travis is a firefighter that kept her from drowning. Their story is loaded with drama, suspense, action, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading Christmas Nights and look forward to reading more from J.H. Croix in the future. Christmas Nights is book 6 in the Diamond Creek, Alaska Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Kept me interested and wanting to meet others from the story. I noticed that I read this last in the series but it made no difference, great as a stand alone
