What if you had one wish granted for Christmas? What would it be?

Acting reckless isn't something Bentley Wilson is known for, but when he runs back into a burning building to save a little girl's puppy after specifically told not to do so, that's exactly how most of the town sees him, especially the fire chief who insists he has to help with the annual Christmas party because of his behavior. Throw in the fact the woman he pined over for too long is getting married, this holiday is going to go down as one of the worst. Until he meets Emma Brookes. She's feisty, headstrong, and holds so much pain hidden in the depths of her beautiful green eyes. He wants nothing more than to erase her sadness. But it's already a season of disaster, and every time they're together, they spar like two warriors dueling to the death. Despite that, he likes the challenge, the crazy way she makes him feel. Before the holiday is up, he vows to get his one Christmas wish. That she never leaves his side.

About the Author

I’m a USA Today Bestselling Author that loves to write sweet contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels, although I am partial to romantic suspense. Honestly, I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there's a happy ending, I'm a happy camper. And insta-love…yes, please! I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom. I have a few more amazing stories in the works. Bentley has been secretly in love or maybe not so secretly in love with his high school girlfriend for years. She is getting married to someone else and he is upset. Emma recently lost her father and is down on her luck. She stops into town to give Elliot some of her father's things, at least that is the excuse she uses. He isn't really family but she feels like he is all the family she has left. Bentley and Emma spend most of their time in a verbal sparring match. I think this is my least favorite of the 3 books in this series so far. Bentley is in love with a girl he dated for a few months years ago seemed pretty childish to me. If he had been in an adult relationship with her it wouldn't have bothered me. I like Bentley and the fact he is such a good guy he ran back into a burning home to save a puppy. Easy read.

He thought he had been in love for years. Since actions speak volumes it says a lot that he never put himself out there, well not after the first time. Everyone knew what he thought was a secret only his best friend called him on it. Then Emma came to town. She showed him that everything he thought was wrong but now he's gonna need to prove she has no reason to run, that he wont leave her like everyone else she loved. This battle isn't an easy one since her history is close on her heels. But Bintley isn't going to take any chances. His Christmas Wish will make sure she knows everything especially how important she is. I love that this author doesn't beat a dead horse by being repetitive or over loading us with too much angst. Emma is skittish but she's got some fire when she needs it and she isn't a push over, she just tends to let her flight instinct take over. It's a great story that will have you in the holiday spirit for reals.

If you love hunkalicious firemen who will risk their life to rescue a puppy from a burning building, Christmas Wish by Amanda Siegrist is for you. A sweet love story. Realistic. Slow burning. Two people hurting, healing, and falling in love. I do love that sweet cover that Amanda designed herself. The family had lost everything, but Mulberry people are the best. They will turn their frowns upside down, making it a Merry Christmas. His, not so much. He let HER get away. Okay, now my mind;s working and I already plotted the ending. I just can’t help myself. Being predictable doesn’t bother me, it’s all about the journey. Emma and Bentley, literally, bump into each other. I love Bentley’s thoughts the first time he meets and talks to her. And the thoughts he has…though he doesn’t go for sassy women. He likes them soft and cuddly. Emma also likes to play practical jokes. I am not one of those people. but knowing Amanda like I do, I look forward to seeing what she comes up with. I enjoyed their verbal foreplay. It is fun and uplifting, which they both need. They sound like a couple of teenagers. It reminds me of me and Mr Wonderful. Neither one realizes, or at least wants to admits it, but they’re interested. AHA! Bentley is becoming a grownup, emotionally. He’s so cute and sweet. Emma’s hard as nails and I am lovin’ her, well, him too, the more I get to know him. I love when he meets her parents. Amanda Siegrist’s writing is so good, she can take a romance and make me love it as much as my thrillers with the dead bodies everywhere and danger around every corner. The only danger here is heartbreak. I am fully invested in the characters outcome from their first meeting. A hot chocolate martini? I’ll have one please. Had me cracking up as ‘we’ sit at the bar drinking. It was easy for me to like the characters and their story that has a ring of truth. No insta love, just slow burning attraction they slowly give into. Predictable, yet so sweet I love it. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Christmas Wish by Amanda Siegrist.

The holiday season is full of twinkling lights, presents, cookies and good wishes. Everyone is happy, busy and full of excitement and it is hard to find a reason to be sad and lonely. Who wouldn’t enjoy this magical time? Emma is still reeling from her father’s death and is very bitter that he left her alone. She is sad, depressed and unsure of where her life will take her. She doesn’t have a job, has very little money, and all of her possessions are in her beat up car. She decided to visit an old friend of her father’s who was like an uncle to her when she was a child. She wasn’t sure what to expect from him or the quaint little town, but she was certain she would have another miserable Christmas. Nothing or no one could possibly change her attitude about life and love. Bentley is a brave and hardworking firefighter who wants to share his life with someone special. He had a crush on his old high school girlfriend but she was getting married and that has put a damper on his holiday spirit. That all changed when he met Emma. She might be feisty and opinionated but there was something about her that has lit a fire inside of him that he wants to explore. Do Bentley and Emma heat up the cold winter nights or does the holiday spirit disappear from their hearts? This is a wonderful holiday story of a young couple who have a lot of love to give and they just needed the right person to share it with. Bentley had to be patient with Emma and she had to trust that his feelings for her were genuine. Emma found her home with Bentley that also came with many new friends, and she finally had a reason to be happy at Christmas.
