Though a bit difficult to get into since it is written in fantasy instead of "real" world life once it hooked me I was done. I was craving the next in the series as soon as I was done with the one in my hand!!!

This was my first Nora Roberts trilogy. I thought it was fantastic. The power of her writing during some scenes were enough to make me weep. The at times strong and some what detailed love scenes made the hair in my arms stand. It thought it to be full of action and passion. The characters were well discribed and I just couldn't put the books down. I read one of them in a day I couldn't wait to get to the next. In turn while I think it was a great trilogy I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I've noticed this in the Three Sisters Trilogy as well. I was expecting the ending in this trilogy to make me want to cry or sigh with relieve. I did neither. I still gave this book a 5 star because of it's love and action scenes. I felt like I was there. I felt the emotions from the death and love. I liked the fact the doomed lovers were able to reunite. I just didn't like the final battle. That ending was disappointing to me.

Nora Roberts continues to amaze with her ability to weave love stories throughout epic adventures. Her books are fun, interesting and always leave you looking for her next one. This was a truly magical tale that managed to cross time and place while galloping towards the finale. A refreshing take on Vampires, Sorcerers, Witches, Humans, Shapshifters and their interactions. A testament to humanity and the constant battle that rages unseen between good and evil.

Love all her books. Her ability to describe locations and areas make it seem like you are right there. The best fiction and romance writer available.

I am not normally a big fan of romance novels. But the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts is not your normal romance novel. They lore and legend was good. I loved the characters. Sometimes it did get a little cheesy and it was predictable, but it is still worth the read.
