I’ve been anticipating this book for awhile now. I’ve followed Carmen’s progress on writing this story and I love the fact that she took her time and made sure she put out the absolute best debut novel. This story keeps you turning intrigued page after page. The hero and heroine have great chemistry and the secondary characters are definitely in need of their own story. I look forward to whatever Carmen puts out next. I’m patiently waiting to know which character gets their story told next.
This debut novel from Carmen Cook offers a second chance love with drama, danger, and a hot romance. Regan is rebuilding the friendships from her past and reconnecting with her sisters. Gavin is juggling being a single dad with owning his own security business. They reconnect and sparks fly. What really shone through in Coming in Hot was the closeness of the group of friends. The group is there to support, love, and encourage each other. They are a great group of characters and I look forward to their stories being played out in upcoming books. Writing style flows smoothly and you’re hooked to see what is going to happen next. This is not a cliff hanger book though some of the secondary storyline/issues where not solved/explained so I’m hoping they will be in upcoming books. A very good book debut and looking forward to her next book.
