About the Author

Steven A. Floyd first became interested in Civil War and Gettysburg history as a California boy reading National Geographic magazine centennial articles. After a 35—year career as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Steve enjoys researching Gettysburg monuments in state libraries and local archives. He is a member of various local Civil War roundtables, the Adams Country Historical Society, and the National Museum of the Civil War in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Steve lives in Gettysburg, PA.
