Just by looking at someone, you might not be able to tell they have a disability. Diabetes is seen as a disability by the federal government. It is a major life-changing event. I have had type 1 diabetes for forty-four years, since I was three. This story shares my experiences growing up with the disease. Not just the disease itself, but my life which surrounds diabetes.
