About the Author

Hi, I am Sterling Michel, and I was blessed to be born in Boulder, Colorado. My parents, on the other hand, were born and raised in Haiti. They were fortunate enough to be able to move to the United States and receive a formal education. I was inspired to write this book to encourage young people to appreciate what they have and be grateful for it. I am aware of many children in Haiti, Africa, Europe, and even the United States who are suffering and struggling. This book is an expression of the story I want to share with the world, “Be kind, merciful, and give thanks for what they have.”
