This book is a very simple preschool counting book. Each page has a nicely illustrated number with the corresponding amount of bugs on it. I like that it is easy enough for my 2 year old to count all the bugs on the page with me and learn what the written numbers looks like. There is no real story, but that's not really what I was looking for. I wanted something that was fun to look at but didn't distract from the point (which is counting), for me this worked perfectly. The book also has some good illustrations for biggest vs. smallest, colors, and shape recognition. Altogether it is a great little book and without question it is more than worth the tiny price tag.

we bought this book after getting "My ABC Book" by the same illustrator/author. She really does a good job making fun characters that appeal to kids. Thanks!

This is a terrific book for preschoolers. My grandchildren love the bright colors and love to identify the colors and shapes.

This is a simple but fun book that is great for helping you teach your child to count. My daugter loves all the bugs and gets real excited near the end when she can count them all together.

My five year old daughter really loved counting the bugs. The illustrations were vibrant and cute. After counting the bugs it goes in to big and little, colors, and shapes. Loved this and the other books by this author.
