The chemistry is hot between Tessa and Ian but Ian is a gentleman but then Tessa unleashed the Alpha part of Ian. Ian treats Tessa like she is one of the best things in Ian’s life. Tessa finds a home in Ian and becomes so much more with his love empowering her. Ian plans to slowly seduce Tessa but then he sees her in his office partially clothes and Ian loses control and dry humps Tessa. Ian had been through two years with no sex and his control just snapped. Tessa is confused by Ian’s kiss and then he leaves so rapidly. Tessa and Ian had a connection right from the start even though they both have insecurities. Even though Ian is powerful, rich and desirable and runs a multi- million dollar hotel. Tessa was a new employee and married when Ian felt that first pull as did Tessa. Ian is a workaholic and now that Tessa is divorced works hard not to be swallowed up with debt. Ian finds out Tessa is getting divorced and is very happy about that as he hasn’t been with anyone since he first saw Tessa two years ago. Tessa is concerned about her job since she had only had a marriage of convenience but now she didn’t have that and had all the financial burdens of life. Tessa had a crush on Ian but never dreamed he wanted her. Tessa learns she is to fill in for Ian’s PA for a week . Tessa doesn’t know Ian specifically asked for Tessa to fill in. I didn’t really care for this story there was just too much sex and I didn’t really feel that there wasn’t that there was that much of a story. This just wasn’t for me.

4 Amazing Stars! Sexy, Smart and Incredibly Romantic The Review: Crave was beautifully bewitching, refreshingly romantic and seriously seductive. The build up was so well done. In the first book, we have all the longing and angsts and in this book we have all the sweet and sexy as the two mains finally come together. And wow! What a coming-together they have. It was absolutely mesmerizing. I’m completely in love with these characters! Story/Characters... After years of staying with her husband in a bland but convenient marriage, Tessa’s divorce is in the works and though she’s lonely and sad and scared for her future, she knows it was the right thing to do. Letting go of the past is hard, especially when you’ve become so dependent on it, but Tessa knows things can’t continue in the same direction. Thankfully, she has someone waiting in the wings for her to finally be free. Insert Ian here! After two years of patiently waiting, Ian finally has a chance at the girl he’s pined for and admired from afar. Working with Tessa was such a struggle for Ian. He literally had to hold himself at bay, acknowledging she was his true weakness and knowing if he had just one moment alone with her, he’d cross a line neither of them were prepared for. So when he learns her divorce is in the works, he’s finally free to pursue her and boy does he ever! I loved Ian. He was so gentlemanly, so romantic, so sweet, caring and loving and so amazingly alpha! Once he had Tessa in his arms, he wasn’t about to let go, and being with her was just as delectable as he knew it would be. These two were smokin’ hot together but it was more than that. Their connection deepened with each passing page and you could feel that bond growing, getting stronger and the love they shared for one another was tangible and sincere. There is such a slow build between these two. So many times in romance novels, the mains fall too quickly and are in such a rush to be together, that all the good parts get left out. Not in these books. Yes, they move along quickly after their first joining, but their time together is precious and full of get-to-know-you moments that are real. I connected with Tessa instantly in the first book. Her struggles are heartfelt and heartbreaking and Ian is the kind of man who can care for her the way she needs and wants. His charm, his patience, his love, his aggressiveness, his certainty that they are meant to be together, only solidifies their connection. He knows what a treasure she is, and he takes his time in wooing her, in encouraging her to be who she wants to be, but also in allowing her to grow as she needs to. Her life has been so complicated and Ian knows it. So he takes his time and we the reader, get to experience that emotional journey right alongside them. We get to watch Tessa grow and blossom under his care. He gives her the stepping stones to take charge and become the woman she was intended to be. That journey is credited to the amazing writing the author provides. Her story is unique and refreshing and you can’t help but fall in love with it and with them. The Wrap Up: Crave is a leisurely build to a spectacular romance that you'll want to savor and enjoy as you take your time reading through it. I fancy the way this author writes and I love the story she’s telling. Ian and Tessa are sexy, vibrant characters and I can’t wait to dig into the third book and read the conclusion to their story. It’s going to be an amazing ride!

Oh Ian, what will you do now that Tessa is a free woman? Crave picks up right where Covet left off and we get to enjoy Ian’s pursuit of Tessa. This romance simmered all through Covet since Tessa was married but her divorce from Peter opens up all new possibilities and Ian didn’t waste any time to take advantage. I’m enjoying how they have helped each other open in new ways. Tessa is finding new confidence with Ian’s help as his love gives her a new purpose. And Tessa’s love has really loosened up Ian. Tessa still struggles with “Wednesdays” which does seem to bring pitfalls on a regular basis. I’m enjoying their journey which is full of hot and steamy sex with just the right balance of drama.

Shut the front door. I got what I was wanting and so much more. Now, I know for certain that I need to get a hold of the original Splendor. I have to see the beginning of what made this story so hot that it had to have a prequel. Not one prequel but two with a third in the works. Janet Nissenson makes it plain in her disclaimers that this story is more of an expanded version of the original book. She felt these two had a much bigger story to share. I have to agree with her. This is certainly turning into a grand love affair. Tess just completely blossoms within the pages. She comes to life in more ways than one and she makes the most of every opportunity she was given with Ian. Ian was perfect gentleman and the perfect alpha when the need arose when it came to Tess. The heat they shared was able to set the heat index up a few notches. With each tap of the screen for the new page I became more and more needy for what was coming next. There was so much beauty within the pages of the second. It carried on with the direction of the first. Opening up new avenues for Tess and Ian. Watching the way that Tessa blooms just makes for a sweeter read. Ian cherishes this woman and makes it known to her that she was the one he wanted. There was rich depth and an intensity that made for a more central focus. There were heartwarming moments that make the bond deeper and more. **This ARC was provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

Crave continues the story of Ian and Tessa, starting right where Covet left off with Ian finding out Tessa is getting a divorce and now free to pursue. The author didn't waste any time getting these two together, which I was thankful for. With book 1 being all about their back story and not spent on their relationship, I was glad to finally see them as a couple. Crave is a pretty low angst and safe read. Ian is 100% devoted to Tessa no matter how many women wanted him for themselves. He had eyes only for Tessa. I loved that he stayed celibate since the day he laid eyes on her 2 years before and fell head over heels in love with her. This story was more a fairytale story. The rich handsome older man swept the young beautiful woman right off her feet. Buying her clothes, jewelry and sweet talking his way into completely taking care of her. I'm not sure any woman could have resisted Ian. Luckily Tessa was a deserving mate to him. Sweet Tessa took care of Ian by loving the man and not the fortune. A very sweet story and I look forward to the third installment Claimed. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
