About the Author

Cynthia Clark PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN is a professor in the School of Nursing at Boise State University and an internationally known lecture and author specializing in academic civility. She serves as a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and a fellow in the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education. Clark is the recipient of the 2011 NLN Excellence in Educational Research Award in recognition of her visionary leadership and pioneering work in fostering civility in the nursing community.
