Unlike the other books in the Warrior series, this one seems to be written a bit carelessly. The real action doesn't start until chapter 15, and it's almost as if someone else, perhaps a student or inexperienced writer, wrote the first few chapters. Have the writers heard of 'show, don't tell'? It doesn't seem so. The narration feels tedious and long-winded with way too much explaining and leaves the reader with nothing to imagine. Toward the end, the story becomes more fluent and holds more power. Still, I think , Crowfeather deserves better. I'm disappointed. This could have been shortened to a novella with a much bigger impact.

This book is a great description of life in Windclan and how hard it is for Crowfeather and his son, Breezepelt. It is a really good book and I advise you to buy it and read it. It is so good you will want to read it multiple times. Best Super Edition ever.
