Alejandro F. Pascual was born in Cardenas, Cuba, in 1950 and there attended La Progresiva Presbyterian School. In 1964 he leave for the United States where he obtained a B.A. in International Affairs from Eckerd College and a M.A. in Business Management from Central Michigan University.
