Cuban Rafter 1994 is the story of my escape from the island by raft in August 1994, after many unsuccessful attempts, and even being jailed for it. Cuba, in the midst of severe lack of rights and freedoms, as well as all kinds of food and material goods, was on the verge of a social outbreak.
