Just as she thinks she knows everything, her world is cast into oblivion while more layers of deception become unveiled.

Hector tries desperately to navigate through obstacles in his bid to obtain his heart's desire, the most stubborn woman he's ever known. High priest and alchemist of the Dragon Pharaoh's flight, he is shunned once again by the unobtainable Dragon Queen. Compulsion drives him as the secrets he knows and the lines he crosses could very well mean the difference between life and death. The things he does could cost him the woman of his dreams. With time running out and the pharaoh's protectors rallying against him, will he win in the end?

This is quite the ride and honestly kept you guessing til the end. It took me a bit to get into it but after pushing through to the end I ending up liking it! Does the Alchemist get the girl in the end? Will she ever forgive him for the things he's done in taking away her free will? Heka's character was a bit unlikable at first and well the things he did were wrong in order to have Uraeus as his wife. He did see the error of his ways and I liked him by the end. :) Grab a copy!

Curse of the Dragon’s Eye is a fast-paced and suspenseful story with well developed characters that are easy to connect with and enjoy. I was hooked right from the start and refused to put it down until I read the last word. From one minute to the next you weren’t quite sure what was going to happen which is why I loved this book so much because it kept me guessing. Once I thought I knew what was going on the author throws an unexpected twist in the mix. It’s intriguing, energetic, unexpected, fun, romantic and so much more. Trust me, Curse of the Dragon’s Eye has everything you could want in one magical place. This book quickly became one of my favorite reads.

I really enjoyed this book. While reading, I thought I was correct in who I thought was the manipulator and traitor. I discovered I was correct. I hope that there will be more like this book.

A first by this author for me, this storyline managed to keep me in suspense and unable to figure out the outcome. That translates to…..winner! The switch in realities was sheer genius and I truly did not anticipate the direction the storyline took from there. Once again, a household chore fell to the wayside as I simply had to finish this tale! Pick up this amazing tale of intrigue and suspense and be prepared to be swept away ! Sometimes it is a real struggle to write these reviews without disclosures, and this one had me erasing sentences! This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.

Wow what an ending... no spoilers but let me tell you that you will not see it coming. This is a very good red and the characters Ureena and Hector and wonderful characters and the plot twists and everything in between are amazing. The fact it is a Dragon shifter book made it even more fun to read. A little of the past and present will always make reading a plus for me. I received this as an Arc from the Author.

I really enjoyed this story. It was slightly hard to follow in the beginning but once it started to flow it was really enjoyable. Shows what one man is willing to do to get the love of his life.

This book was me first by this author and she really backed a punch into the short story. This book it about betrayal and has both dragons and a human realm. This story had really good development of the setting and of the plot. Even though this was a short story the book was so well written it read like a novel. Also even if your not that into any paranormal books you might still like this one because of the story line can be related to our normal lives. I would recommend this story!!!

Curse of the Dragon's Eye by Kali Willows is a dragon shifter novel that is steeped in intrigue. From the start, it is difficult to know just who to trust. Ureena is driven to discover the mysteries in the Pyramids of Amon-Ra. Even as she searches, she experiences strange dreams, while also dealing with the persistent affections of her boss and landlord, Hector. When the truth is revealed, will Ureena know who to trust? I had a very difficult time getting into this book, which is strange, since I tend to enjoy paranormal romances and archaeology. I enjoyed the rich world that Ms. Willows created and I liked the character of Ureena, though I thought her too passive at times. The intrigue was well written. However, I thought parts of the novel were confusing and I was not certain why characters made the leaps in logic they did. It was difficult for me to figure out whether Ureena was aware of things or merely reacting to the events. I didn't particularly care for Hector and was never sure why Ureena came to care for him either. In the end, this just felt flat to me.
