This book is fun for little ones because it has the flaps on each page that they can flip up to reveal what's missing or what the character is looking for. Karen Katz has great books out there for 9mo.+. Her books are so much fun, and they've helped our 1 yr. learn words and objects.

My daughter loves to lift the flaps and find the tools. Her favorite is the dog at the end. A must have for kids learning to use their cute little fingers.

My son brought this book back from the library and has been interested in working with tools, and daddy, ever since. All dads should read this book with their toddlers and show them how to complete tasks.

I bought this book for my husband to read to my son. It's adorable with vivid colors and fun flaps that he can lift to discover the items that a father and son need to build a dog house. Not too long so it holds even a young infant's attention. - Noga Delshad

This book holds the attention of a toddler. My nephew loves the colorful illustrations and enjoys the flap surprises even after reading it many many times.

My son is 15 months and has been reading it since he was about 10 months old. He loves and anticipates when the page will turn so that he can lift-the-flaps and discover the new items that the little boy and his dad are using to build a dog house. The use of vivid colors and fun flaps also adds to the fun.
