About the Author

Writing is something I have tinkered with other the past several years; finally bringing to fruition my first novel. I have always heard to write about "what you are familiar with." I have been a nurse for over forty years, loving every moment. Most of my career was spent at Duke University Medical center. I have been doing short term mission trips for thirty eight years. I combined nursing and missions and Dana was born. I still work one day a week and continue with my mission work. My other passion in life, besides my family, is hockey. I am a season ticket holder for the Carolina Hurricanes.
