Chapter One
Daniel had a pushbike As fine as fine could be It had some special adaptions For riding in the sea
It had a wheel at the front A wheel at the back A pontoon on the left and right And a little carry rack
Now Daniel had a purpose His Dad lived far away On the far side of an ocean He would leave that very day Daniel had planned to leave On a rising tide With a full moon to guide him On his long and lonely ride
"He set out"
The night was warm and balmy With a light off shore breeze And the moon to guide him On his journey across the sea
With sails and peddles working The hours came and went Daniel felt a little tired His energy nearly spent
And the night it came to greet him With it's dark and clutching claws So Daniel stopped and rested Well beyond the rocky shores
And the sea at night Is a wonderous sight With creatures large and small And tiny little glowing fish That swim among them all
