Overview

When Corrie Belle Hollister and her younger siblings unexpectedly find their father on the streets of Miracle Springs, their shocking reunion is tentative at best. It will take time before they can start to become the family God wants them to be.

Meanwhile, many things in Miracle Springs are beginning to change: the new church gets built, a school is opened, Pa Hollister settles into his role as father, and the Hollister cabin becomes a home. But the biggest changes are still ahead, as Pa Hollister makes a choice Corrie is not quite prepared for.

Can Corrie hold on to hope when her world is shaken yet again?

It tells the story of Corrie, her brothers and sisters who come to Californis to seek out their uncle. Their mother dies in the desert as they near their distination. They think that Uncle Nick is their only living relative, only to find out that their father, who they thought was dead, was there in Miracle Springs. Lots of surprises await the reader. Corrie is a remarkable young woman, as you get to know her through her journals.
