Daughter of the Revolution

Daughter of the Revolution is about a 14-year-old girl turned woman-warrior from one day to the next on the streets of Budapest as she battles Soviet troops. Based on true events of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, the novel takes us into the heart of the demonstrations and the powder keg that led to the massacre that sparked a bloody revolution. In their fight for freedom, the Hungarian people,
many of whom were mere teenagers, took up arms against tyranny despite overwhelming Soviet armor.
