Arriving late to a Human Trafficking awareness seminar she's attending for work, Lexi Morris catches the eye of Luke Miller, the FBI presenter. After the meeting, she walks to her car distracted by texting plans for a fun weekend, but her plans come to a crashing halt when she's abducted with the intentions of being sold into sex slavery.

Luke Miller, Special Agent on the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force/Coalition in central Pennsylvania felt a connection with the beauty who arrived late to his talk. At his cabin in the woods for the weekend, he observes suspicious activity at his late uncle's cabin. When he investigates, he finds Lexi held captive and rescues her after a shootout with traffickers.

Passion ignites between Lexi and Luke until Lexi finds lots of money, in Luke's pocket? Is Luke her buyer and not her liberator? What will it take for her to trust him?

About the Author

Lorelei lives on a peninsula on the gulf coast of Florida with her husband, Richard, and AJ, a longhaired Chihuahua who is her constant companion.

In the fourth grade, she wrote a story in the form of a play—something about getting a shot at the doctor—that actually was produced by the teacher for parents and students in an assembly. When she was older, she spilled her guts in a journal every night and wrote long newsy love letters to Viet Nam to her high school sweetheart, now her husband.

In 2010, she had her first novel published, Deadly Deception, the first in the Deadly series regarding human sex trafficking. When she is not working on upcoming novels, she spends time with her two grown sons and their families, one of which lives in North Carolina with her granddaughter and two grandsons so she visits there often. She loves suspense novels, travel, and the great outdoors.

Mentoring children years ago, began her phase of helping others, mostly children in third and fourth grade, teaching the importance of using the correct words for a an essay, and watching their eyes light up when they figured it out.

Since then, she has mentored aspiring authors to set goals, write at least 100 words every day to increase their word count, complete scenes, chapters and generally, meet their objectives, as well as, finish the book.
