Death and Other Beginnings

I lived a life. It was probably a lot like yours. Love and loss. Struggle and joy. Young to old. Nothing special. Just a life. And time, as it does with all of us, eventually caught me. When my end came, I didn't wonder what there was after death. I didn't consider the great beyond. I was old and sick and tired. I was ready.
