Deluge of Suspicions

An obnoxious theft during a major Northwest flood serves as a picture of a larger crime in science itself. The female partner of a leading geologist begins to have doubts about science by talking with the detective of the theft case of her partners landscape carving. The detective had a past in geology until an unfortunate event happened, and Elana's doubts about science converge into a flood.
