About the Author

Simon Hillson is Professor of Bioarchaeology at University College London. He has taught dental anthropology for over thirty years and has written key textbooks in bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology and zooarchaeology. He has participated in many archaeological projects in Greece, Peru, Turkey, North Africa, and the UK.
