Overview

Carol, who is widowed, decides it's time to take her son and move. She finds a new job, with a new house, to make new memories. Add that no one knows she is a widow, and she can add new beginnings to her list. It's time she's decided. As to the what, that is still to be determined.
When her house is nearly broken into; it is Rand who gets her call to fix her broken door. Starting with his wolf's intrigue at hearing her voice, he tumbles headfirst for the human who answers the door of Eliot's old house.
The bad news is his past comes calling and they will use any means necessary to make Rand help them. Those means include harming anything, or anyone, he may care for.
Nevermind Rand is at a disadvantage dealing with Solomon, Carol's Main Coon Cat. Will this wolf and cat's friendship get off the ground, or will noses be split?
Let the games, and posturing begin.
