Diet: The Novel

Vincent Nevechihir is middle-aged and terminally fat. His doctor says so. The only prescription is lose 100 pounds in one year: "Diet or die." Vincent choses the diet part of the equation. His goal becomes and obsession. His friends and colleagues and family find his decision to be too radical to be understood. Troubles follow him along the path, including the deaths of people with whom Vincent has relationships. A suspicious county prosecutor becomes obsessed with bringing Vincent down.
