I understand how hard it must be to come up with romantic stories every time, but this one was way off the mark for me. I love Jessica Clare for her stories like beauty and the billionaire and the care and feeding of an alpha male where the passion felt real. But sometimes she loses me, and this is one of those times. I don't understand why every set of characters has to get pregnant ASAP and married, it seems unrealistic for it to happen every time. And Lexi just wasn't likeable. "Scaring children" got really old, and her and Knox really don't turn me on. Their weird banter during sex made me want to just skip the sex scenes. I don't take writing a poor review lightly. I've purchased every single one of Jessica Clare's books, but reading this one made me cringe and want to go back to reading her old material.

This third book was a big disappointment. Knox' s easy going character saved this story because Lexi the female lead was too miserable. She had very few likable moments. Even when you read the small bits & pieces of why she was the way she was, it wasn't enough. In the end, you just felt EXHAUSTED after this read. A regrettable buy. Wish I hadn't bought this one. And that in itself is surprising considering I can't buy or read J Claire's books fast enough over the years. This book definitely makes me think twice about future purchases. Shouldve just stopped at the second book in this series.

I love this series and Knox is my new favorite brother. I really enjoy alternating POV's and Knox's POV is to die for; he can be quite funny. Lexi is something else! They are both weird and I love how weird they are together! I enjoyed their story from start to finish and can't wait for more......

If you want something lighthearted and fun this isn’t it. The couple isn’t relatable, the ingenue is frustratingly boring and idiotic and the male is clueless. I normally buy this authors books as pre-sale but I will be waiting for reviews next time.

I don't usually leave a review but I really enjoyed this book. I thought the banter between the characters was very entertaining and funny. I would recommend this book to my friends.

Before I started reading this series, I would have said I wasn’t a fan of a redneck, especially one with a scruffy beard. Annnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddd then I read about the Price brothers. This book is about Knox Price and Lexi Brandon, friend to Natalie (who is the girlfriend of one of Knox’s brothers.) I won’t try to lay out the relationships in this series as I can’t do it justice but the author really does a great job of putting it all out there so this story stands alone. I just liked reading the previous books and happen to know the characters. It is so funny that Knox and Lexi hit it off but when you read about them, I mean really who they are, you figure out early that these two are perfect together. Knox is a billionaire who definitely doesn’t dress the part and Lexi is…let’s say difficult and tries to be as off-putting as possible to keep her distance from people. Both characters have had difficult youths and terribly distressful things happening in their lives in the present but as it should be, they are so much better together. I really like Knox! I keep trying to picture his seriously gorgeous face (as Lexi describes it) without a scruffy beard but even I got past that, as did Lexi. Lexi made me care about her and you just want to stand behind her, or in front of her, sometimes to help her battle the world. Enjoyed the book, love these “boys” and their “girls”, and the stories. There is fun, there are touching scenes, hawt scenes (!), and some parts where you will yell “Yes!!” Recommend the book and the series – you just never know how one of these Price’s will steal your heart.
