Dog or Demon: Tale from 19th Century London born author who wrote under a male pseudonym

Dorothy Henrietta Havers was born in 1846. She began writing short stories in 1871 under the pen name of Theo Gift. Thereafter she continued to write for the periodicals and also wrote several novels until she ceased writing in 1901.

She died in London in 1923.
