About the Author

A proud member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), Samantha A. Cole is a retired policewoman and former paramedic who is thrilled to add award-winning author to her list of exciting careers. She has lived her entire life in the suburbs of New York City and is looking forward to becoming a snow-bird between New York and Florida someday. Her two fur-babies, Jinx and Bella, keep her company and remind their mom to take a break from writing every once in a while to go for a walk, which is the best way to deal with a stubborn case of writer’s block.

An avid reader since childhood, Samantha was often found with a book in hand and sometimes one in each. After being gifted with a stack of romance novels from her grandmother, her love affair with the genre began in her teens. Many years later, she discovered her love for writing stories was just as strong. Taking her life experiences and training, she strives to find the perfect mix of suspense and romance for her readers to enjoy.

Her standalone novel, The Friar, won the silver medal in the 2017 Readers' Favorite Awards in the Contemporary Romance genre out of more than 1000 entries.

While the original planned stories for the Trident Security series have been completed, they have brought many opportunities for Samantha to spread her wings and bring her readers more characters and stories to love. Look for her new Trident Security Omega Team series, Doms of The Covenant Novella series, Blackhawk Security series, and more from the Malone Brothers series, in addition to several standalone projects.

Touching and inspirational read, full of love and promise. Shane and Tucker as well as their six year old daughter have struggled with the loss of their wife and her mum, now with two years past Shane really feels they need to move on or they will be lost in mourning forever. Tucker still loves their wife and just cant get past the loss, but now with a new housekeeper he has to start looking forward. Grief is a hard thing to deal with and everyone does that in a different way and time, its hard to see past that loss. The dedication both guys have to their wife is beautiful, but they made promises and their daughter also needs more than just what they can give her even though is well balanced and smart. Paige is strong but has been through tough times that have left her hurt and persecuted, needing to move away and start again. She is like a breathe of fresh air for everyone at the ranch. This is a story about overcoming the depression left by grief and hurt, it is about starting over and making new friends, it is also about discovering a new lifestyle and understanding it without prejudice. Finding love that is so much more than you can ever think to find. I loved reading this story in a brand new series by this author, it is a bit different from her other series but still incorporates a few of the ideals used in the other series. I am certainly waiting happily for the next book to see how this continues.

Wow. What a story! Where to even start, meeting Shane and Tucker to begin with , you could feel their pain. Losing their first wife was a bitter pill to swallow and Altho Shane was devastated he was coping better than Tucker. When Paige enters their life it opens up a world of possibilities. What follows is a true love story. Inevitably life never runs smoothly but throughout love prevails. This book has all the feels, pain, loss, insecurities, prejudice, betrayal, suspense and love. So much love it practically vibrates of the Page. I was hooked on this book from the first chapter until the last. It’s definitely a must read book. Way to go Ms Cole. Awesome book

I absolutely loved this book! I think it’s my favorite from this author (I may or may not say this about every one of her books) but I really mean it this time. It had all the “feels” for me. From grief to hope for the future, and love, and everything in between. The love scenes were beyond HOT and so exciting. Ms Cole has a way with words that few authors have and this book is a must read.

Another fabulous book/storyline from Samantha Cole. I love Ms. Coles writing style. Most of her books, at least the ones that I have read, have humor mixed in with romance and suspense and often have a bit of Taboo flare. Plus her amazing writing style defines the characters to the point they feel like old friends and not just people on paper in a book. That being said, “Don’t Fight It” fits the bill in true Samantha Cole fashion and I have a feeling this is going to be one heck of a new series. Tuck and Shane lost their wife to Cancer 2 years ago and it’s be a struggle to move on without her. Being in need of a housekeeper/cook/caretaker for their 8 year old daughter, so that the men can concentrate on the ranch and their personal life, Shane takes a chance on a friend of his cousin’s, Paige, who is needing to start fresh after a nasty divorce/scandal. The book takes off from there. The 3 way attraction is there but everyone fights it for their own reasons. But when injuries, jealousy, and scandals all find their way to the ranch, the 3 become even closer. Can Paige and the two sexy ranchers find happiness and live in a menage household? The twist and turns and suspenseful moments will have you turning the pages to find out what happens, while the tender, easygoing and romantic sections will have your toes curling. This is an awesome storyline that will having you smiling one minute and crying out OMG the next. It’s a must read worth more than 5 stars in my humble opinion. 2 Thumbs Up and Kudos to Ms. Cole for another awesome start to a series.
