I don't know how I feel about this story. Having the pet die in such a manner served no purpose except to upset me. The story was creepy and just plain weird. And the ending really gave no clue to exactly WHAT was living down there. But it was quite entertaining anyway. I wish more of the 64 pages had been used toward a better ending. (Catpurrson)

This is a really fun short (about 60 pages) that is just creepy, gross and kind of silly. In the hands of a lesser writer it would have been TOO out there but lucky for us it is well-written. It reminds me a lot of Tales from the Darkside - which is a good thing.

I enjoyed this short horror story.  Reminds me of Stephen King the banality of the evil and giving voice to the pet pulled me in just like the drain :).
