I love this book. My doctor told me I should read this book. my Cholesterol had gotten very high and even thow I have been walking every day and doing 45 mins. of yoga. I was gaining weight. I got this book and boy have my understanding of what different types of food do to your body. What foods you should eat and what foods you should stay a way from. You don't starve, you still have plinty to eat and snack on . And you still need to exerice too. I have  lost 12 lb. in 4 weeks and feel really good. I've have learned how to eat smart and health. This book can help anyone who is wanting take control of your health.

This book was done a disservice to be called a diet book. It is a nutritional plan that everyone should read and follow. I wish that I had understood the things she covers in this book when my children were infants. This makes more sense and provides more motivation for me than any nutrition or diet book I have ever seen.

This is an amazing tool for a practical approach to any food. Kluze makes it very simple to understand the complexities behind WHAT foods DO to you, and how they interact with your body systems. I now truly understand WHY things are good to eat, or bad. Plus, to not only realize why/how you gain weight, you learn what foods naturally offer protection for disease. (I am not a huge reader, so for me to have thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as I did, really says something.)

Dr. Ann's 10-Step Diet provides a wealth of nutritional information and tips for changing one's eating habits - for good. Having tried a number of diets on the market, this is the first to leave me feeling full and craving-free. I have been successful in losing weight, but at a slow, sensible rate. The increased protein and decreased junk food/soft drinks have helped spur me on. Also, the recipes are simple and very good. Dr. Ann gets it! I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to change their eating style in search of a healthier body.
