This was another great story with magic good and evil. The brothers with each having their special gifts and the strong women that have their own special powers.

A wonderful read full of time travel, romance, angst, and magic! Both from the Fae and the humans. A wonderful story to take you on a journey!

Loved Angus and Deidre! I hope we find out more in the next story about Their sister's death or if she's really dead? Good job Mary Morgan!

Dragon Knight's Shield, the fourth book in the Dragon Knight's Series. Mary has done it again. She brings a world of excitement, mystery, action and love to you in a book. Amazingly written that you feel like you are a part of it. With this book, there are twists and turns, shockers and OMG, I wish I was her moments. I love Angus and his struggle i no different than any other brother. Just in a different way does it effect him and how he deals with things. He is the oldest of the four brothers so he had been raised to be the leader. When a leader falls, he has a longer and harder road to walk back on. He is met with Deirdre, a female version of him. A warrior in her own right and teaches him a few things. Things he needed and things he did not know he wanted. The book is awesome from beginning to end. I am reading it for a second time. Because it is so good.

Angus, a Highlander once belonging to the Order of the Dragon Knights, must begin his quest for redemption. Believing that his sins are great and that redemption will not be his, he encounters Deirdre, a modern day warrior. Deirdre finds it hard to believe that she has ended up in medieval Scotland, but with the handsome Highlander stealing her heart can she go back home or will she stay with him? Together can these two venture forth to stop the evil that is trying to take over Scotland, and restore the Order? Mary Morgan has completely taken me by surprise with this book. Upon discovering this book, I felt it was necessary to read the previous three books, although this one can be a stand alone read. The development of her writing is greatly appreciated as it shows her wonderful skills as a writer who knows what her audience wants. The dialogue conveys each character's personality clearly and also shows the author's humorous personality. The plot of the story is engaging and will have readers eagerly turning the pages for more. It is a mixture of historical romance with the supernatural, creating an exciting adventure. There were elements of sword fighting and magic, giving the reader the added bonus of adventure and action on top of the romance. Mary Morgan weaves an interesting tale and I cannot wait for the next installment of the series to appear on the bookshelves.

Some scenes are filled with humor, because of the time difference! I really had fun following her charming characters! Just let yourself be swept away to Scotland and follow Angus and Deirdre's journey filled with adventure, love, danger, suspense, magic dragons and a female warrior!
