Drama in English Teaching

The Bullock Committee Report on Language Teaching emphasized the importance of studying drama seriously and professionally. Yet, despite these recommendations, many schools continued to assign drama a minor role within the curriculum. Typically, the responsibility falls to the English Department to present drama in a structured and meaningful way, but many educators remain uncertain and hesitant about how to achieve this aim.
