This is by no means an in-depth, comprehensive beginner's book, but I found it full of useful tips and artistic drawing aides. Most artists learn these on their own eventually, either consciously or subconsciously, but it's nice to have it all layed out so that you are more aware of what you're doing and why you do it. I can see this being very helpful to a beginner seeking to improve, and as an intermediate artist I still found some tips that changed the way I thought about drawing the figure. The actual section on clothing is small and not really the best part of the book, though it's just as helpful as the other general categories it covers.
This book has REALLY good drawings! I just wish it didnt cost so much! This book looks good for college kids but it might help someone who needs to get better.
Excellent book to assist the artist, especially for college art.
I THINK DRAWING IS FUN
