Overview

Sometimes undressed is better...
A restaurant owner with a knack for creative salad dressings discovers undressed can be better, especially with a businessman who knows his way around the bedroom.

The creative dressings Sahara Whitney serves at The Oasis Diner and her long line of failed relationships are her local claim to fame. Such is the small-town life of a buxom, blue-eyed blonde—until a sexy businessman decides she needs rescuing from a creep with wandering hands. Her usual common sense deserts her in favor of a delicious assortment of bedtime treats with a man who seems to want more than a single night of dessert.
Trace Dennison doesn't believe in coincidences. Instant sexual attraction, a common business interest, and an oopsie baby convince him he's found the woman of his wildest dreams in Sahara Whitney, even if she has lingering doubts. A self-inflicted shotgun wedding offers the perfect recipe for happily-ever-after, but the honeymoon ends before it begins when Sahara suspects an ulterior motive—that their trail of clothing to the bedroom leads to Russian spies, a French revolution, and Caesar's assassination.

About the Author

When her fingers aren't attached to her keyboard, Mellanie Szereto enjoys hiking, Pilates, cooking, gardening, and researching for her stories. Many times, the research partners with her other hobbies, taking her from the Hocking Hills region in Ohio to the Colorado Rockies and the Adirondacks of New York. Sometimes, the trip is no farther than her garden for ingredients and her kitchen to test recipes for her latest steamy tale. Mellanie makes her home in rural Indiana with her husband of thirty-two years and their son. She is a 2016 recipient of the RWA Service Award, RWA Chapter Advisor, and a member of Romance Writers of America, Indiana Romance Writers of America, Contemporary Romance Writers, and FF&P Romance Writers.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Mellanie Szereto; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I loved the chemistry between the characters. I was surprised it still worked out for Trace and Sahara. Sahara has very serious trust issues and Trace sounds too good to be true. While the two fell in love quickly, the plot is realistic. The conflicts are believable. This author always keep her stories as close to real life as possible. Very good story. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

A quick story to read in the Love on the Menu...Extra Hot series. Sahara Whitney who is the owner of The Oasis Diner is a woman who has to learn to trust again. She meets Trace Dennison of Dennison Foods and they have an instant connection. There will be misunderstanding, trust issues, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book. Sahara and Trace were so utterly hot! I love stories where the characters immediately recognize there is something special and then their relationship develops from there. Love how honest and upfront Trace was and understood Sahara's apprehensions. I only wish there was an epilogue where we see how it all turned out.
