Drew Mullins was a haunted man, quite literally. His mother tortured him as a child and seemed bound and determined to continue doing so seventeen years after her death. Drew, being a necromancer, was having a hard time avoiding her because she didn't know she was dead.
Between Mac having the little girl's father haunting her and Drew dealing with his mother's ghost, they both were a mess. But in each other they found what had been missing in their lives-love.
But when the thirst for revenge heats up, can Steele and his group find a solution? At least one where no one else ends up dead?

This is a series that never ceases to amaze me. Each character is carefully detailed letting you get a true sense of who they are. The addition of the ghosts as supporting characters adds dimension to the storyline leaving it open to multiple possibilities for the author to use as she wishes. I love that the Justice men find the perfect partner to help them deal with their past and in turn get to help their new love interest. The storyline is strong and grabs you right from the first page. Your emotions are always tested, you feel the pain and happiness of the characters as you follow their tale and watch them grow and overcome. Both Drew and Mac have big hearts , they struggle with coming to term with their relationship and the path that has been set out for them. This was well thought out and I quickly became engrossed in the storyline. I love that you get to see the previous characters and that the stories tend to overlap keeping you in touch with how everyone is doing. I am so looking forward to the next story in this series. I volunteered to review this advanced reader copy.
