Great Continuation . I won a copy of this book from Goodreads giveaways, I was not required to give a favorable review. This was another wonderful book in the series. This one brings another one of the Gallagher boys into finding his true love again and dealing with family relationships. Michael was in love with Shay but things didn't work out because of something his mother did and caused. Now Shay's uncle is in trouble and he needs her help. He helps out of a jam in Vegas and she comes back home to look for her uncle and brings her best friend with her. There is a lot of suspense but true love is out there.

Driftwood Cove is gripping from the very beginning. I was so excited to read more of Shay and Michael's story after getting a taste of their romance in the novella Christmas with an Angel. They apparently have a complicated and heartbreaking past but their feelings are still very much present. Driftwood Cove has the same wit, heart, and humor I have come to love in Debbie Mason's writing. Although I think it had more action and suspense than the previous novels, which I absolutely loved! Plus what can you expect with a stubborn kick-butt heroine like Shay. Shay is definitely a fun character with her angst, mistrust, loyalty, and crazy fun best friend by her side. I definitely was laughing out loud at some of their antics. Cherry is so hilarious! Even she knows that Shay and Michael belong together and is so cute and funny when she's trying to make sure they end up together. Michael is strong, smart, and totally in love with Shay. Making him 100% swoon worthy. The mess they all find themselves in makes for lots of tension and puts even more barriers between the two lovebirds. I was so happy with the way things worked out in the end though. Shay absolutely deserves to be happy and I think the ending was perfect. I truly loved Driftwood Cove and I highly recommend it to all romance fans!

I have been waiting for Driftwood Cove and Michael and Shay’s story since the teaser Debbie Mason wrote Christmas with an Angel and Shay stood him up at the Bandstand. The wait was worth it. Michael and Shay are snarky and prickly and everything I expected them to be. Add in a stripper with a heart of gold, a few bad-ass FBI agents and the doings at Graystone manor and you have a rollicking afternoon of entertainment. I really enjoy this series and it seems to get better with every installment. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

What do you do when the past comes back to haunt you unexpectedly? That is what happens to Shay Angel in Debbie Mason’s Driftwood Cove. Shay Angel, an ex-con on the right side of the law is in danger and she has no idea why. She was almost framed for a crime that she didn’t commit because of her background. So she heads home, with her best friend and the best friend’s dog only to find that her uncle has gone missing. Michael Gallagher, ex lawyer, current FBI agent. He has been in love with Shay since they dated many years ago. However, situations and time have kept them away from each other these many years, but life just won't feel right until they are back together. Michael is determined to make Shay believe that he is there for her and will be as long as she will have him. But the past is a vicious capital B! Will Shay be able to open her heart to Michael again, or will the past keep them apart forever? This was a great short story. I loved the relationship between Michael and Shay, but Cherry stole the story. I would like to read the entire series to meet the other Gallaghers and to see the beginning of Shay and Michael’s story, however Ms. Mason does a fantastic job of giving you a good understanding of everything in this book. Four stars.
