Drowned Landscapes: An Archaeological Approach

The study of human past by making use of material remains is known as archaeology. It attempts to study the prehistory as well as history. Humans occupied vast areas of continental shelf when the sea levels were lower than their present state. The findings at such sites range from stone stools to entire villages.
