This book is about a very unique area in southern Maryland where the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay meet. The area is rich in history and was once owned by the Peruvian Ambassador to the United States. There is a deep water harbor and was surveyed to become a destination point for the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad.
