We all want more time with our families and less time in the kitchen with our limited free time these days. With the Dump Dinners Cookbook you can have just that. It's a great book that gives you tips and recipes to make mealtime easy. It also gives you many recipes that can be frozen and then heated up later so they are perfect for making double or triple batches leaving you with dinner for tonight and dinner for later.I like that the recipes are easy to follow with simple ingredients that my family enjoys. Only thing I would change about his book is I would like to have photos of each of the recipes to look at.
I absolutely love making dishes such as these! This was a great find as all the recipes in one book were so mouth watering to have in one place. I find myself constantly searching on line for new simple one dish meals. With a busy family of 3, it's nice to be able to make recipes and be able to freeze leftovers for another day. We have tried a couple so far and one of our favorites was the chicken alfredo ravioli . Our 10 year old even devoured it. Definitely worth the read!
One pot dinners are something I grew up with and was excited to see what additions I could add to my one pot dinner recipes. 75 dump dinners to choose from will keep my family from getting bored of the same weekly menu. I love that there are so many to choose from and the ingredients are almost always on hand. This makes my shopping list so much easier to make and there are a LOT less dishes to wash. I love that there are many ways to prepare the meals and I can also freeze and reheat for next week.
This cookbook is simple, easy to follow, and has a lot of good recipes. I have a very hectic schedule, as many do, and this cookbook has saved my dinner time stress. Sometimes, I have difficulties following recipes if they are too involved or require too many steps, but this cookbook is very easy to follow and the meals turn out pretty good! Not only does it contain helpful recipes, it includes helpful hints on how to pick your ingredients if you are not familiar with them. In addition, it includes helpful hints on how to cook the dinners and store them for the best results!
I was a little thrown by the title. For those real thinkers, no you do not go to the dump and get the ingredients. You do however probably have most of the ingredients in your pantry. They are 75 very easy to follow directions where you will make dinners in one pot. There are 6 different ways to cook them , a pot, skillet, casserole, sheet pan, slow cooker, and bowl. I love that the ingredients are so easy to get in the grocery. You will use canned soups, canned chicken and frozen vegetables. We have cooked several.of these recipes and we liked them all. I liked that they are easy to.change up if there is a ingredient that your family does not like. My daughter does not like mushrooms. In one recepie it called for canned mushrooms. I left it out and it was still delicious. The one thing to watch for is do not add any more salt. Since you are using a lot I'd pre packaged ingredients salt is already added. It would be easy to use fresh ingredients if you wished. It is a summer here and the fresh vegetables are easy to come by,but in the winter using frozen will be great. I am so glad I read this book and look forward to trying more great recipes. If you are a busy family and need some go to recipes for those busy nights, this is the book you need.
This book is well written and very easy to follow. I would recommend it to even very beginners. With today's busy schedules, noone has time to be stuck in the kitchen cooking.... this book is a huge time-saver and will be a money-saver as well! The suggestions for sides and desserts are great, and having clear instructions for freezing future meals will be very handy. All in all, the only problem i have with this book is the lack of pictures. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to trying out all of these recipes!
At first the title, dump dinners scared me but.have a chance to sift through the book and learn more about it im pleased i gave it a go. The book is more about throwing a bunch of ingredients together quickly make a good meal. Easy and quick is how i have been trying to make my meals since i work most of the time and dont have time to make long meals that take a lot of time. So far i have tried a few of the recipes and i have been enjoying them. The chicken cordon bleu and Taco soup so far are my favorites as they took little time to make and were great tasting. All in all its a great book for those in the run with little time for big meals. This recipes are quick, easy and taste great. As a foodie, the one thing bad about this Ebook version that i got is the lack of picture. When it comes to cookbooks i feel they need a lot pictures for the readers to use as a reference. At lease the recipes make up for it but i wish that all the recipes had pictures.
This book has some great recipes that are very easy to follow for even the most amateur cook, it is helpful for anyone living a busy life who has little time on their hands. I tend to eat a restricted diet for the most part, limiting dairy, gluten and sugar. For someone with a lot of.limitations like myself, the recipes may not always be iddal, however you can of course make substitutions if you choose to. I really do like the helpful tips on freezing food and other advice the book offers on storing food properly. There is definitely a.good variety of recipes from soups to pastas and everything in between. I would recommend this book to anyone who leads an active lifestyle that could use help managing their time in the krichen!
This book is more than a cookbook - it really helps busy people manage their time more efficiently when it comes to being in the kitchen. It has some great recipes and also ways to mix it up a little, and also how to make up your meals and freeze them. I really enjoyed browsing through this book to see what kinds of meals I could just throw together in no time. This is a great time saver and a lot healthier way to eat, instead of just hitting a fast food restaurant on the way home.
Every family eventually gets bored with eating the same food over and over. This book makes fixing new things for dinner easier than ever. Throw a little of this and a little of that in a pot and you have a whole new perspective on dinner. Learn how to freeze meals properly and use kitchen staples like never before. Don't let the title fool you, these dinners are great.
