Author Kongwen Lu (Dong Zijian) crafts a fantastical series around a daring teenager of the same moniker who vows to overcome the cruel Lord Redmane with the help of an enigmatic Black Armor sage (Guo Jingfei). Yet Kongwen finds the lines between fiction and reality blurring as his character Guan Ning (Lei Jiayin) shoulders a task to kill him before his writings further affect the fate of the fantastical realm.
