Ghost of Zorro

In 1949, Republic Pictures issued a 12-chapter serial entitled Ghost of Zorro, about one of the famous bandit's descendants donning the Zorro mask and cape, and taking on a bunch of outlaws who are destroying telephone lines. Ten years later, the studio edited the serial down to this 69-minute feature. The basic premise and cast are the same, but the picture is more confusing at feature length, with an extremely muddled plot.
