"Warner offers up a decent no-frills disc for B-movie fans with this DVD of Gymkata. The video transfer is the best part, offering a crisp anamorphic, widescreen image with strong colors and solid detail. It shows its age in a few spots but is of good quality overall. The dialogue seems a little low in spots in the disc's mono soundtrack mix, but this seems like a peculiarity of the mix as the music and oft-cartoonish sound effects come through just fine.
